Ingeborg trained in South Africa and the Netherlands and made Canada her home.
Her studio is situated in Langley BC
In South Africa her pottery training took place at the studio of Digby Hoets.
Taking a long break from clay, she took up painting with Sue Kemp - the South African Watercolour Society. During this period she ran her own Graphic Design business. After several years of painting she decided to make a transition back to clay.
In the Netherlands she took up training with Joop Crompvoets, at the pottery studio De Walsberg, followed by several workshops over the years. These, included wheel-work, glazes, salt and wood-firing.
She followed an Internship at the Pottery studio of Niek Hoogland, a slipware potter.
Whilst in Europe, she visited Art Galleries, covered Art and Design events, Pottery and Craft Markets and Potters at work in their studios.
